August’s ArtLab for All Ages workshop at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, 162 Russell Ave., in Rockport will take place on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. Participants will design small still lifes with garden flowers and then create watercolor paintings from them.
Everyone is welcome. Admission is free and all materials will be provided. Pre-registration is not required. ArtLab is made possible in part thanks to generous support from Camden National Bank, Harbor Square Gallery, the Milton and Sally Avery Art Foundation and individual donors. CMCA is a nonprofit organization advancing contemporary art in Maine through exhibitions and educational programs.
