The Rusty Hinges will present a free outdoor concert for all ages Sunday, Aug. 3, between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Woolen Mill Park on the downtown banks of the St. George River.
The Rusty Hinges are a Midcoast band that plays folk, bluegrass, oldies, children's songs, sea chanteys, holiday tunes, wedding music and more. The musicians blend guitars, pennywhistles, mandolins, fiddles and ukulele with vocal harmonies. The band plays every Tuesday night at The Narrows Tavern and at various other venues.
Music In the Park concerts feature local musicians. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a refreshments (no alcohol), blankets or lawn chairs; enjoy treats from the on-site ice cream wagon; and relax with live music by the old mill stream.
