Lincoln County Sheriff's blotter

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department has reported the following local incidents:

June 30

Kyle Godin, 38, of Spruce Head was issued a summons for passenger not using a seat belt, on Lower Cross Road in Nobleboro, by Deputy Kenneth Hatch.

July 20

A 17-year-old male juvenile from Vinalhaven was issued a juvenile summons for minor consuming alcohol on Route 1 in Newcastle by Deputy Justin Drake.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
