Penobscot School in Rockland invites the public to two dinners offered in collaboration with area restaurants.
The school’s English Immersion program for August includes students from Japan, German and Mexico. On Monday Aug. 11, students from Japan, together with assistance from Suzuki’s will prepare soba and tempura served with saki.
On Tuesday, Aug. 12, Chef Carl Brickett of Morse’s Sauerkraut joins a German student from Bavaria to prepare roast pork tenderloin with dumplings and sauerkraut with wines provided with the assistance of RAYR – the wine shop.
Each dinner is $25 per person and both are served at the school’s 28 Gay St. location. Call the school at 594-1084 with questions and to reserve a place.
