Sponsors are needed to once again help bring the annual Christmas by the Sea to the midcoast. Participation as a sponsor allows this event to continue year after year and bring the joy of the holiday season to visitors and residents alike.

The 28th annual Christmas by the Sea is slated for Friday, Dec. 5 to Sunday, Dec. 7.

The deadline for sponsorship is Oct. 1.

The following events need sponsors:

Event Brochure – one opportunity, $500

Holiday Tree – one opportunity, $1000

The Holiday Tree is the shining spirit of the season. Standing tall in the hilltop of Harbor Park this tree lights our community starting Christmas by the Sea Weekend and remains up through early January.

Opening Reception – one opportunity, $300, Hosted by the Camden Public Library

Horse and Wagon Rides – one opportunity (Sunday), $650

Hat and Mitten Tree, hosted by the Camden Public Library – 1 Opportunity, $250

Santa's Story Hour – one opportunity, $200, Hosted by the Camden Public Library

Photos with Santa – two opportunities (Rockport, Camden) $150 each

Each year free photos with Santa are offered in both Rockport and Camden and local photographer Mark Haskell offers up his photo services.

Santa's Visits – four opportunities, $125 each

West Rockport – Friday Night

Rockport Harbor – Saturday Morning

Camden Harbor – Saturday Afternoon

Lincolnville Beach – Saturday Night

Santa makes a stop in each town during the weekend. Your support of this special visit allows children and their families to enjoy the magic of Santa for free
