The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for all Maine counties, in effect until 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 23.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means that the potential exists for the development of thunderstorms that may produce large hail or damaging winds. Those under a weather watch should go about their normal activities, but keep an eye to the sky and an ear to the National Weather Service for further updates and possible warnings.
