Barbara Ernst Prey will sign a new print release of her iconic painting “Parade Route” Friday, July 25, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Blue Water Fine Arts, Main Street/Route 131 in the village. Sales of the print will benefit Habitat for Humanity.

“I have been a longtime supporter of Habitat for Humanity and am pleased to again support their work,” said Prey.

“Parade Route,” painted in Maine, is selected by the U.S. State Department’s Art in Embassies Program for exhibit at the U.S. Embassy Residence in Hong Kong. Prey also will be signing her print “Nocturne IV,” which will be on the August cover of Down East Magazine as part of their Art of Giving benefit.

Prey’s annual exhibit “American Contemporary: 40 Years Painting” runs through Aug. 31. Prey was appointed by the President of the United States to the National Council on the Arts, advisory board of the National Endowment for the Arts.
