ME Water Buffalo Co. open house July 26-27

ME Water Buffalo Co. is having its Open Farm Days Saturday and Sunday, July 26 and July 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The public is invited to this free event to learn about Maine's only water buffalo farm and meet the herd. In addition to the water buffalo herd, visitors can also check out the farm's yaks, feed and pet baby goats and guinea pigs, get face paint and kiddos can play the "mud wallow" game.

Water buffalo meat will also be available for purchase at the farm on these days. ME Water Buffalo Co. is located at 91 Old County Road, Appleton.
