A summer group exhibition will open Wednesday, July 23, along with a show of watercolors by Robert Steinmetz, at Jackson Memorial Library, 71 Main St./Route 131.
The group show will feature the works of 23 St. George artists including Geoff Bladon, Ed Botkin, Katharine Cartwright, Len Clarke, Darlene Cocke, Lauren Gill, Betsy Johnson, Ute Kohn, Jan Lipson, Jeannette Martin, Otty Merrill, Jenifer Mumford, Hannah Nelsbach, Chuck Paine, Victoria Pittman, Angela Anderson Pomerleau, Marianne and Bill Swittlinger, Lucinda Talbot, Charlene Vanderslice, Dorothy Wurman and Carmella Yager.
The public is invited to attend a reception for the artists Friday, July 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. with live music by Steve Lindsay. Jackson Memorial Library receives a 30 percent commission from the sale of art.
