The Knox County Republican Committee will be holding a formal business meeting along with a regular monthly committee meeting to elect new officers to the Executive Board.

The meeting is Thursday, Aug. 14 at the Tradewinds Motor Inn in Rockland. Food will be served from 6:30 p.m., and the formal meeting will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the regular meeting. The public is welcome to attend.

The agenda is as follows:

i) Election of chairman, vice-chairman and secretary for the balance of 2014;

ii) Nomination for State Committee member;

iii) Preparations for Union Fair;

iv) Upcoming fundraising activities; and,

v) Other new business.
