The second in the summer series at the Rockville Community Chapel will take place Sunday, July 20, at 1:30 p.m. Heavenly Sound, a faith-based trio performs a vocal and instrumental blend in a spiritually uplifting show, offers traditional as well as contemporary sacred music.
The concert is free to the public, but is supported by donations. Home-baked goodies on the lawn will be for sale in support of the chapel, located at 87 Old Rockland Street (off Route 17 behind the Green Thumb).
The last concert of this summer’s season will feature the Belfast Bay Fiddlers and is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 24, at 1:30 p.m. If the weather cooperates, this will be an outside affair on the lawn; otherwise, it will be held inside the chapel, also free to the public with donations appreciated.
On Saturday, Oct. 18, starting 5 p.m., the chapel’s annual fundraising supper will be held at the Rockport Masonic Center. The menu is still to be determined.
