The July 21 Monday Night Movies in the Park will be “Meet the Robinsons,” a rich and hilarious animated film from Disney (2007, USA). The G-rated film runs 95 minutes and will be screened at 8:30 p.m. in the Camden Amphitheatre, Atlantic Avenue.

The movie series is sponsored by the Camden Public Library and Camden National Bank. The movies are free, although donations will be gratefully accepted; bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.

“Meet the Robinsons” is a visually compelling children’s movie about an orphan who dreams of someday finding a family to call his own. His fate takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious stranger named Wilbur Robinson transports him into the future. Based on the book “A Day With Wilbur Robinson” by William Joyce, “Meet the Robinsons” tells the story of a boy with a life-long wish to belong … and shows what happens when he meets an incredible collection of characters who might be able to make his wildest fantasies come true. The voice cast includes Angela Bassett, Kelly Ripa, Tom Selleck, Adam West, Steve Zahn and Laurie Metcalf.
