One doesn’t get the chance to sit eye to eye with a pig very often, so come down to Coastal Children's Museum Saturday, July 12, at 11 a.m. when Snuffles, a potbellied pig, will visit the museum with her owner Kim Chatfield.

Snuffles is a gregarious gal and her owner will lead a short presentation about his unusual and loving pet. The group will sit and interact with Snuffles and will be able to feed her to really get face to snout.

Snuffles has visited many schools and nursing homes and in these trips her owner has noticed that Snuffles has a special affinity for children with special needs. As Chatfield describes it, Snuffles seeks out and cares for them in particular. For reasons he can't understand, children with special needs "forget the regular and engage in wonder and Snuffer-Doodle enjoys this very much also. It is a very cool thing."

This presentation will take place in the museum and is included in the normal price of admission.
