Union's Kleiner graduates from the University of Rhode Island

KINGSTON, R.I. —  At the University of Rhode Island's 128th Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18, about 3,000 undergraduate and 680 graduate students became the University's newest alumni.

Nicholas Kleiner of Union, received a bachelor of arts in French and a minor in leadership studies.

Montana named to dean's list

PLYMOUTH, N.H. — Kacey Montana of Union has been named to the Plymouth State University dean's list for the spring 2014 semester.

To be named to the dean's list at Plymouth State, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. These credit hours must be in courses that earn grade points and the student must have completed all such courses attempted.

Locals graduate from Maine Maritime Academy

CASTINE — Maine Maritime Academy recently named students to their dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement in the second semester of the 2013-2014 academic year. Students named to the dean’s list earn a grade point average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale.
