The Town of Warren will present a gala concert for all ages Sunday, July 13, between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Woolen Mill Park on the downtown banks of the St. George River. The free concert will feature Bay Winds North, a Rockland-based brass and wind ensemble.
Bay Winds North is celebrating a very successful fourth year. Some 25 to 35 musicians practice and perform weekly, some members traveling more than 50 miles to play. Their presentations features show tunes, concert medleys, marching music and novelty selections.
Music In the Park concerts feature local musicians. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a refreshments (no alcohol), blankets or lawn chairs; enjoy treats from the on-site ice cream wagon; and relax with Bay Winds North, down by the old mill stream.
