Children and families are invited to a free guided nature walk at Merryspring Nature Center Thursday, July 17, from 11 a.m. to noon.
The first of Merryspring’s Free Family Programs for 2014, guests will meet at the Merryspring hexagon for a guided nature walk led by Program Manager Brett Willard. Along the way, children will learn how to identify key trees, listen for bird calls, see some interesting and useful plants, and discover some of Merryspring’s most unique features.
This program is part of the 2014 Free Family Programs. These are biweekly, drop-in programs at Merryspring occurring every other Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon throughout July and August. All Free Family Programs are open to the general public and do not require pre-registration.
For more information, call Merryspring at 236-2239 or email info@merryspring.org.
