Knox Museum announces that Machias Savings Bank will underwrite the 2014 Knox Annual Lecture Thursday, Aug. 7, at 5:30 p.m. at the Strand Theatre in Rockland.
This year’s lecturer is Chief Historian of the United States Senate, Donald A. Ritchie, whose talk is entitled Congress Investigates: It All Started with Henry Knox.
The presentation is free, and all are invited to attend. Doors open at 5 p.m.
“We’re proud to support Knox Museum’s annual lecture,” said Rockland Branch Manager Judy Brogden in a news release. “Working with local people and businesses to enhance life in our communities is what Machias Savings Bank is all about.”
