Jeanette “Pebbles” Esancy, 73 passed on to greener pastures June 26, 2014, in Tucson, Ariz. She is now with our maker, The Lord.

She was born Dec. 22, 1940, in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, to Wayne Godfrey and Thelma Green Harris.

Pebbles was known as an amazing domestic engineer, an excellent cook and a talented interior decorator. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, especially on occasions with a holiday theme. Pebbles had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.

Pebbles lived by these words: “Mother is more than a memory. She is a living presence. Your Mother lives inside your laughter. And she is crystallized in every teardrop. A Mother shows every emotion …happiness, sadness, fear, love, excitement, joy, and sorrow. And, all the while, hoping and praying you will only know the good feelings in life. She is the place you come from, your first home, and she is the map you follow with every step you take. She’s your love and your first friend. Nothing on earth can separate you …not time, not space, not even death.”

She is survived by her husband, Deane “Dino” Esancy, two sons, Kraig Jardine (wife Stacy) and Ron Jardine (wife Johanna) and a daughter Lori Appleton (husband Tom), two step-daughters, Melinda Mossbarger and Michelle Pope (husband Jerry), 13 grandchildren.

Memorial services to be held Saturday, Aug. 16, at 1 p.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Appleton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
