Louise Bakley will be the speaker at the monthly Wellness Brown Bag Lunch at the Camden Public Library Monday, July 14, at noon.

Bakley will present Heilkunst Sequential Homeopathy: A safe, gentle and non-toxic treatment for a wide range of acute and chronic disease conditions. The Wellness Series is a free series co-sponsored by the Camden Public Library and Pen Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce

Heilkunst, “the art of making one whole,” or “the art of healing,” is a full medical system developed by Samuel Hahnemann more than 200 years ago. “It is a scientific system of medicine grounded in and guided by clear natural law principles,” said Bakley in a news release.

“A Heilkunst treatment addresses what is presently going on with the body,” she said, “treating the visible symptoms, which mirror what is going on at a deeper level. Secondly, it addresses the various physical, mental, and emotional traumas that have occurred throughout our lifetime. Although the event is passed (e.g., medication use, dental procedure, family move, emotional event), its mark remains and the affects continue to block our life energy (the energy that animates us). In Heilkunst, we slowly revisit our past; and as each event is cleared, we alter the way it affects our life today.”

With Heilkunst treatment, there are three equally important parts in the pursuit of complete health and wellness: regimen, medicine proper, and therapeutic education. “Regimen” focuses on maintaining balance including four “cardinal points:” nutrition, sleep, hydration, and exercise; “medicine proper” treats disease as an impairment of our dynamic life force, and in identifying the disease state you can find the similar remedy picture; and “therapeutic education” helps us gain a better understanding and knowledge of how our false beliefs in life will inhibit us from realizing our full potential, who we are here to become. “What we see, feel or hear affects how we see ourselves in and of the world,” she said.

Louise Bakley is a doctor of Medical Heilkunst and Homeopathy, a graduate of Hahnemann College of Heilkunst, and current member of the Canadian International Heilkunst Association. Following a long and arduous time trying to find a solution to her son’s health issues, Bakley was fortunate to discover the Hahnemann Clinic of Heilkunst Sequential Homeopathy. In a very short time, she felt such a strong resonance with this program that she decided to pursue the practitioner’s program, and graduated in October 2012. Louise has broad and in-depth experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Bakley is also a licensed speech-language pathologist and special education teacher working in the field for over 30 years. Bakley has a special interest in digestion and immune system functioning and their connection to many physical, mental, and emotional conditions we see today.
