Janna Hymes, Music Director of Maine Pro Musica, spoke to the Camden Rotary Club on June 17. Rotary members received MPM hats, a gift from the orchestra.
Maine Pro Musica was founded by Rockport resident Hymes, conductor and music director of the Williamsburg Symphonia in Virginia, and comprises professional musicians who perform year-round throughout the state. Among its performances is the very popular Holiday Pops concert, produced every December as a fundraiser for United Mid-Coast Charities.
