The Midcoast Sports Hall of Fame's inductee and athlete-of-the-year display will be on exhibit at the Camden Public Library in July and the Rockland Public Library in August.

The display includes pictures and biographies of the 46 individuals who have been inducted into the hall of fame, plus recognizes the athletes of the year from the past few years chosen from the existing schools represented by the hall.

The display is permanently housed at the Thomaston Academy.

In Camden, inductees from the classes of 2007, 2008 and 2009 will be on exhibit July 1-15, with the classes of 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 on exhibit July 16-31. In Rockland, 2007, 2008 and 2009 can be viewed Aug. 1-15 with the remaining classes on exhibit Aug. 16-31.

The Midcoast Sports Hall of Fame honors and remembers athletes, coaches, administrators, officials, reporters, broadcasters, trainers, designers and other associated positions that have made outstanding contributions to sports in the Midcoast.

Schools that inductees can be chosen from include: Camden High School, Camden-Rockport High School, Camden Hills Regional High School, Rockport High School, Appleton High School, Union High School, Islesboro Central School, Rockland High School, Rockland District High School, Oceanside High School, North Haven Community School, Vinalhaven School, Thomaston High School, Georges Valley High School, Waldoboro High School, Medomak Valley High School and Lincoln Academy of Newcastle.
