Waldoboro Police officers responded to 156 calls for service between June 16 and June 23. Below are a few of the highlights:
June 16
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle.
June 17
Officer John Lash summoned Richard Campbell, 46, of Jefferson for uninspected motor vehicle.
Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a report of criminal mischief done to a motor vehicle.
June 18
Hesseltine summoned Nicole Nichols, 42, of Waldoboro for speed.
Hesseltine arrested Randall Blasius, 22, of Friendship on a warrant.
Officer Thomas Bartunek summoned Michael Tembley, 27, of Camden for failure to produce evidence of insurance and unregistered motor vehicle.
June 19
Hesseltine investigated a report from the Smoke Shop of the theft of tobacco.
June 20
Fuller arrested Devin Davis, 27, of Friendship on a warrant.
Hesseltine arrested Karrie Prior, 23, of Waldoboro for a violation of conditional release.
Fuller arrested Mark Snow, 59, of Waldoboro, for operating under the influence.
Bartunek investigated a report of threatening text messages.
June 21
Bartunek investigated a crash at the intersection of Atlantic Highway and Main Street at 1:45 a.m. Matthew Burnham, 23, of Damariscotta was traveling south on Main Street in a 2003 Nissan utility vehicle and failed to see the stop sign at the intersection. Burnham drove across the Atlantic Highway and into the parking lot of Gordon Libby Forest Products, striking a Leer truck cap that was for sale in the corner of the parking lot and then a camper that was parked behind the truck cap. Burnham received injuries and was seen by ambulance personnel.
Andrew Santheson arrested Elisa Robbins, 27, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.
June 23
Fuller investigated a report that some items were stolen and some items were damaged.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
