The weekly blues series continues with Jason Elmore & Hoodoo Witch Monday, July 7 at 7 p.m., in the upstairs music room of Time Out Pub, 275 Main St. Tickets will be $10 at the door.

Jason Elmore is a Dallas-based guitarist and singer/songwriter who is turning heads in the blues/rock guitar world with his devastating guitar chops and vocals. Whether fronting his high-energy touring band Hoodoo Witch or performing as a solo acoustic act, Elmore is able to bring together elements of American music in his performances that seem to bridge the gap between blues, rock, ‘60s soul, vintage country and jazz.

Jason Elmore & Hoodoo Witch is a high-energy trio that blends jump blues, Texas rock, vintage soul/R&B and country chicken pickin in a way that maintains the essence of the blues while simultaneously offering a fresh take on the genre. They have shared the stage with such heavyweights as Jimmie Vaughan, Tab Benoit, Monte Montgomery, Bugs Henderson, Tommy Castro, Carolyn Wonderland, Jim Suhler & Monkey Beat, David Lindley, Kim Simmonds (Savoy Brown), Peter Tork (Monkees) and many others.

Monday, July 7, is also the final day to purchase advance tickets for this year’s North Atlantic Blues Festival, July 12 and 13, available on the website and local ticket outlets Huston-Tuttle in Rockland and HAV II in Camden. Advance blues festival tickets are $25 for either day or $50 for the full weekend; tickets will be $35 per day at the gate.
