Rose & The Wayfaring Strangers will play Tuesday, June 24, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Elm Street Grille, 115 Elm St./Route 1. The group’s style of music ranges from Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt to Merle Haggard, with a little bluegrass gospel thrown in for good measure.
Rose and Wayfaring Strangers features Kim Moran of Lincolnville on vocals, mandolin and flute; Doug Teel of Rockville on vocals and guitar; Ron Haven of Appleton on bass; Linda Stevenson of Warren on vocals and fiddle; and Rosey Gerry of Lincolnville on vocals, banjo, guitar and autoharp.
Rose and Wayfaring Strangers has performed up and down the Midcoast and enjoys seeing people participate during performances; the local musicians’ enthusiasm and mix of music are sure to have listeners toe-tapping and singing along.
The Elm Street Grille serves dinner Tuesdays through Sundays from 4 to 8 p.m.; to make reservations, call 236-7722. For more information on the band’s performances or bookings, contact Gerry at 975-5432 or roskari@gmail.com.
