The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department has reported the following local incidents:

June 11

A crash occurred on Rockland Road in Jefferson involving Peter D. O’Brien, 73, of Tenants Harbor. O’Brien was operating his 2005 Chevrolet 1500 westbound when he stated he fell asleep. As a result, his vehicle went off the road and struck a tree.  Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.

June 12

A crash occurred on Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Carleton Ingerson, 70, of Union. Ingerson was operating his 2014 Ford Fusion southbound when a deer entered the road and was struck, causing damage to the front driver’s side corner.  Deputy Jared Mitkus was the investigating officer.

A crash occurred on Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Glen R. Dever, 52, of Waldoboro. Dever was operating his 2014 Mazda northbound when a deer entered the road and was struck. Deputy Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
