Waldoboro officers responded to 428 calls for service between May 20 and June 9. Below are a few of the highlights:
May 20
Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a hit and run accident on Atlantic Highway. Reported at 10:30 a.m. Jasmyn Rose, 23, of Waldoboro, had her 2014 Toyota sedan legally parked in a parking space in front of Car Quest. Several hours later it was found that the vehicle had been hit.
Officer Thomas Bartunek arrested Jessica Parker, 32, of Waldoboro for burglary and theft.
Bartunek summoned Cynthia Watson, 65, of Boothbay Harbor for uninspected motor vehicle.
May 21
Bartunek investigated a crash on Manktown Road at 3:55 p.m. Allan Ray, 76, of Newcastle, was attempting to back out of a parking space in a 1999 Chevrolet school bus and failed to see Christina Falla, 35, of South Thomaston, legally parked in a 2012 Chevrolet sedan. The bus struck the sedan in the rear passenger corner. No injuries were reported.
May 22
Bartunek investigated a report of computer harassment.
Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated a report of harassment. The subjects were found and warned on harassment.
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report of the theft of a chainsaw and sign.
May 24
Fuller summoned Robert Lacombe Jr., 30, of Waldoboro for operating after suspension.
May 25
Officer John Lash summoned Lester Feltis, 44, of Waldoboro, for speed.
May 26
Bartunek summoned Stephanie Schaffner, 26, of South Portland for uninspected motor vehicle.
Fuller summoned a 15-year-old male for assault and terrorizing.
May 27
Hesseltine investigated a report from Maritime Farms of the theft of $47.42 in gasoline. Subject was located and returned to pay for gas.
May 29
Wilson arrested Steven Reed, 60, of Waldoboro, for operating under the influence.
May 30
Fuller investigated a report that someone broke into a shed and took some tools.
Fuller investigated a report that someone was going through someone's mail.
June 1
Fuller investigated a report of criminal mischief done to a store.
Lash investigated a report of harassing phone calls. The subject was found and warned.
June 3
Hesseltine investigated a trespassing complaint.
June 4
Chief William Labombarde arrested Corey Allen, 41, of Warren for a domestic violence assault, burglary, robbery, domestic violence reckless conduct, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief.
June 9
Lash summoned Jeffrey Moran, 27, of Washington for uninspected motor vehicle.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
