Penobscot School in Rockland welcomes Dennis Healy as its new president. Healy has been involved with Penobscot School for 20 years as a student, volunteer and member of the Board of Trustees.
Born in Paris, Maine, he graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with a BS in biology and went on to work as the environmental manager at FMC Corporation. He has taught French at the Five Town CSD Adult and Community Education and leads the annual winter French film series at Rockport Public Library.
Healy’s predecessor is long-time student and board member, Dana Strout. Strout will remain on the Board of Trustees.
