MidCoast Christian Academy held its graduation ceremony Friday, June 6 at the Masonic Lodge in Thomaston.
Six students participated in the graduation exercises.
The ceremony began with Administrator River Radley expressing her thanks to the teachers, staff, and students of MidCoast Christian Academy for a great school year. She also congratulated the graduates on their dedication and encouraged them to remember that they would always be a part of the MCCA family.
The Valedictorian Veronica Odone and President Garrett Burns each presented speeches. Guest speakers included the students’ former elementary school teacher, Becky Chamberlain, and Pastor Randall Thissell. The Teachers Scholarship Fund, a special scholarship comprised entirely of teacher and staff donations, was awarded to class President Garrett Burns. The ceremony ended with a special video presentation of the graduates and a tribute to the parents and family members that have contributed to the student’s success.
MidCoast Christian Academy would like to congratulate Michaela Benner, Garrett Burns, Stephanie Colson, Jess Slader, Sydney Spofford, and Veronica Odone on their many accomplishments.
