Medomak Valley Land Trust will host a bird walk on the Martin Point Wildlife Reserve Saturday, June 7.

The walk will kick-off the land trust’s new breeding bird survey of the Medomak River watershed. Participants will meet at the Community House at 7 a.m. for a brief orientation about collecting data and categorizing breeding behaviors and to learn about volunteer opportunities for completing the survey in other important areas in the watershed. The event will be led by John Guarnaccia, MVLT board member and expert birder. Coffee and refreshments will be served before the walk.

The Martin Point Community House is located in Friendship on Martin Point Road, just over 1.5 miles from Route 220.
