Camden Public Library’s indoor Spring Book Sale is coming up on the weekend of May 17 and 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

"We have been collecting books over the long, cold winter, and our book shed is overflowing with terrific books, both hardcover and softcover, all in great shape and at terrific bargains," said Don White, volunteer chairman of the sale. All the book sales benefit the library, and the sales are run by library volunteers. Come support the library and pick up some book treasures!

"It’s time to replenish your reading material and we are loaded with new donations. Thanks to the generosity of the Camden Library community, we will be offering hundreds of titles. We have a fine collection of Maine books, our nautical selection has been replenished, and there are hundreds of recently released paperbacks. Cooking enthusiasts will be drooling over our selection, so to speak. Those who love to travel, check out our offerings. We have a fine selection of CDs and DVDs, and for those who still enjoy VHS tapes we hope you’ll buy some from us,” White added. “Our books are only $2 each while children’s and paperback offerings are 50-cents each or three for $1.”
