The Lincolnville Community Library has several free programs coming up in May.

On Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to noon, people of all ages are invited to come to the library to make and decorate garden flowers and creatures using a variety of art supplies. All materials will be provided.

Tuesday, May 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. is the second game night of the month. The library has Scrabble, a couple of cribbage boards and several other games or people are welcome to bring their own favorites.

On Friday, May 23, from 10 to 11 a.m., children and parents are invited to story time. Retired kindergarten teacher Ann McKittrick will read once again from a selection of books from the library and her own collection.

On Tuesday, May 27 at 6 p.m., the book group will meet to discuss “The Invention of Wings” by Sue Monk Kidd. Those who haven’t read the book are also welcome to come listen and share ideas for other books to read.
