The Camden Downtown Business Group announces the launch of a redesigned website, which went live April 12.

The new site can be found at

Designed and developed by Elm Street Marketing Essentials in Camden, the new CDBG website illustrates the variety of experiences that visitors and residents may discover in and around Camden.

Erick Anderson, co-chairman of the CDBG and member of the CDBG’s website committee, said, “Whether you love outdoor activities, fancy yourself a foodie, crave cultural events, or seek unique shopping opportunities in a walkable downtown setting, our goal is to let you know that Camden is the place to experience all this and more.”

According to Amy Rollins, chairman of the CDBG marketing committee, “Working with Elm Street Marketing Essentials has been terrific. Not only do they know the area first hand, they have a passion for promoting Camden, and it comes through in the new look they have created for our website.”

The site is easy to navigate whether one is looking to Play, Stay, Dine or Shop; or to find any of the services and events in and around Camden. In addition, the CDBG is asking residents and visitors to share their Camden Maine Experiences on the site.

The Camden Downtown Business Group has been promoting Camden as an exciting place to live, work, and shop year-round for more than 25 years. The group also works to promote Camden as a premiere, year-round, tourist destination. Toward that end, the CDBG works with members of the business community and the Town of Camden to encourage cooperation and leadership, creating a positive downtown image and strengthening and expanding the economic base of Camden for residents and businesses alike.

Businesses located in Camden, and those towns adjacent to Camden borders, are invited to join the Camden Downtown Business Group. The group meets monthly on the third Thursday at the Lord Camden Inn. For more information or to join the Camden Downtown Business Group, email or visit
