Mime, musician and educator Scot Cannon of Belfast will bring his “Show Me!” mime and music workshop to Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., Saturday, May 10, at 11 a.m.

Cannon has inspired young people for more than 35 years. During this workshop, school-age children will learn some of the basic mime illusions, sing original songs, listen to funny stories, play a baby guitar, eat invisible fruit and meet Scamp, Cannon’s dog. The workshop, suitable for school-age children and their families, is part of the ongoing The Arts … for kids and Their Families series at the library. For more information, contact Jean Young, children’s librarian, at 594-0310.
