New Hope for Women announces the addition of Christina Falla to its board of directors. A resident of South Thomaston, Falla is a clinical social worker.

In making her decision to join the board of New Hope for Women, Falla cited the organization’s important role in the communities it serves.

“Because of my commitment to helping others and promoting social justice, it was important to be part of an organization whose work in the community is all-encompassing in its support and advocacy of children and families in need. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to serve on this board,” she said in a news release.

New Hope for Women offers support to people in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo counties affected by domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. It also provides important educational resources to assist our communities in creating a safer and healthier future.
