Coastal Mountains Land Trust and the Camden Public Library team up to celebrate the full moon and spring stars Wednesday, April 16, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport.

Land Trust staff will open Beech Nut, the historic sod-roofed stone hut on top of Beech Hill preserve, for the open house. Miss Amy, children’s librarian at the Camden Public Library, will read star stories in the hut at 7 p.m., and the library’s circulating telescope will be on hand to view the full moon up close. Be sure to bring warm layers and a flashlight to help guide the way up and down the three-quarter mile trail.
