Popular children’s musician, Rob Duquette, will lead a lively, interactive music program Saturday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St.; and 2 p.m. at Waldoboro Public Library, 958 Main St./Route 220. This program is for children of all ages and admission is free.

With a foundation of jazz, pop and world music, Duquette’s children’s music features re-arranged classics and original fun songs with good messages. He sings and performs on ukulele, guitar, xylophone and many percussion instruments from around the globe  and his creative style also includes making music with an oversized water jug, a frying pan and other found objects.
