February vacation means lots of fun options at Rockport Public Library, 1 Limerock St.

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, form 2 to 3 p.m., the Rockport Dance Conservatory will be at the library to demonstrate some hip-hop dance moves. Everyone is invited to come to a fun, energetic event at the library with some great music. Space is limited, so advanced registration is required.

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 2 to 3 p.m., local author Liza Gardner Walsh will read from her book “The Maine Coon Cat.” P.A.W.S animal adoption center also will be at the library with a few kittens or cats. After the reading, attendees will make cat toys for the pet at home or to be donated to four-legged friends at P.A.W.S.

Thursday, Feb. 20, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Rockport Public Library will screen a children's movie, popcorn provided; call for the movie title.

Friday, Feb. 21, from 2 to 3 p.m., everyone is invited to come play board games. There will be throwing dice, flipping cards, spinning wheels and moving pieces all afternoon. The library will provide games, but attendees should feel free to bring their favorite games to share.
