A free cider pressing is set Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Cider Hill Farm, Old Route 1, Waldoboro.
Sponsored by the Waldoboro Community Garden Club, the event is open to all, and it's BYOA: Bring your own (washed) apples and a jug or bottle for your cider.
An antique cider press will be on hand, along with garden club volunteers to assist visitors. This event is family-oriented so bring the kids. For more information, call Marilyn Andrews at 832-4055.
