The Rockport Public Library received a gift of $15,000, presented by the Friends of Rockport Public Library.

This gift is made possible through Friends membership (individuals, local businesses and corporate sponsors); gifts of books and other materials for the sale; the generosity of the Midcoast Recreation Center; Steve Beveridge and his crew at Rockport Public Works; Friends board members; and the core group of people who sort and price books all year long and work at the sale.

Proceeds from the annual book sale and memberships help support a portion of the purchase of books, audio books, the delivery service,  library programs, supplies,building maintenance, and utilities.
