Waldoboro officers responded to 157 calls for service between Sept.16-23. Below are a few of the highlights:
Sept. 17
Officer John Lash investigated a crash on Washington Road at 4:32 a.m. Christopher Leach, 31, of Milford was driving a 2007 Toyota sedan south on the Washington Road when he struck a deer. No injuries were reported.
Officer Thomas Bartunek summoned Tyler Chadwick, 25, of Wiscasset for speed.
Sept. 19
Officer William Bragg investigated a $25 gasoline drive off from the Big Apple.
Sept. 20
Officer Jeffery Fuller summoned Isaac Ward, 33, of Waldoboro for theft.
Sept. 21
Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated a criminal threatening complaint. The subject was found and warned not to have contact with the complainant.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
