Dinsmore benefit
WARREN — A benefit dinner and auction will be held to assist the family of Brandi Lee Dinsmore who, along with her unborn child, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 31.
This event will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, at 4 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 105 Camden Road, Warren. Proceeds will be used to assist the family with unexpected for medical expenses, etc.

Taste of the Market
ROCKLAND — Rockland Farmers Market is hosting a Taste of the Market Thursday, Oct. 3.
A big salad filled with mixed greens and tasty farm fresh vegetables will be the centerpiece. There also will be herbal cookies, blueberry cobbler topped with farm fresh ice cream and applesauce cake. Try wood fired pizza or a lobster dish. In addition to farm fresh produce, the market has many items that make perfect gifts.
The market is located at Harbor Park in downtown Rockland, every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., rain or shine.

Penquis would like to remind those seeking home heating assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program to go to the new Penquis location at 315 Main St., Suite 205 in Rockland. Oktoberfest
There will be a craft fair and flea market at the St. George Grange at Wiley's Corner on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 9 a.m.
