Rose and Wayfaring Strangers, a Midcoast–based group that plays and sings traditional country and with a Downeast, down-home flavor, Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elm Street Grille, 115 Elm St./Route 1.
The band’s style of music ranges from Hank Williams, Patsy Cline and Linda Ronstadt to Alan Jackson, with a little bluegrass gospel thrown in too. The group features Kim Moran from Lincolnville on vocals; Doug Teel of Rockville, vocals and guitar; Barry Crawford of Monroe, vocals and fiddle); Ron Haven of Swanville, bass; and Rosey Gerry of Lincolnville, vocals, banjo, guitar and autoharp.
The Elm Street Grille is open to serve dinner Tuesdays through Sundays from 4 to 8 p.m. To make reservations, call 236-7722.
