Rockport Public Library, 1 Limerock St., hosts the RPL Fiber Arts Group, which will start up again in October. The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the Marine Room

Those who have a yen to knit, spin, crochet, embroider, felt or do other types of fiber arts; would like to work on their stitching with other like-minded enthusiasts; or are looking for a place to ask questions, share tips and generally enjoy themselves are encouraged to come to the Rockport Public Library Fiber Arts Group, which welcomes all levels of experience. There will be an experienced knitter on hand to help with instruction.

The RPL Fiber Arts Group will meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 3:30 to 5 p.m. For more information, contact the library at 236-3642.
