Camden Public Library’s big fall book sale is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Oct. 4-6, during Camden’s Harbor Arts Fest weekend.
“We’ve got a great selection of Patrick O’Brian novels, all adventures at sea,” said Don White, volunteer chairman of the book sale. “History buffs will love the David McCullough selections. We have a large selection of quilting books, gardening books, and another great selection of teen and children’s books. We have books on religion, travel, how-to, and a vast selection of reference materials. Our reference selection is eclectic with titles covering several genres.”
“In our art section we have many poetry books including Edna St Vincent Millay, and as always we have tons of fiction, both hardcover and paperback,” continued White. “This our final sale of 2013, so if you’re looking for bargain priced books to read during the winter then come to our sale."
Hours will be Friday and Saturday under the tents, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Books are all priced $2 and less. Adult hardcover and trade paperbacks are $2 each, paperbacks at 50 cents each and three for $1. Children’s books are 50 cents each and three for $1. VHS tapes and cassettes are 50 cents each and three for $1. DVDs and CDs are $2 each.
