Tuesday, Sept, 17, at 8:30 a.m., the town of Camden will conduct a test of the Seabright Dam emergency siren.
The siren is located at the Seabright Dam at 121 Mt. Battie St. and is a component of the Seabright Dam Emergency Action Plan, its purpose is to alert residents in the event that the Seabright Dam were to fail or appeared to be in danger of failing. The siren will be activated and run for approximately one minute during the drill.
Any resident wishing to view a copy of Seabright Dam Emergency Action Plan could do so at Camden Public Safety Building located at 31 Washington St.
