Rockland Public Library will host its second Family Place Libraries program for children 0-3 years old and their parents or caregivers to share together.

This five week Parent-Child Workshop will be held at the library on Wednesday mornings, beginning Sept. 25 and continuing through Oct. 23.

Family Place workshops emphasize the role of parents as the first teachers of their children; facilitates early intervention; and teaches strategies for healthy child development and early literacy by means of toys, crafts, books and play. Representatives from a variety of community resources will be on hand to discuss parenting questions and concerns.

Pre-registration at the library is required. Call 594-0310 for more information or to sign up.
