The Coastal Children’s Museum is having a sale of fun and educational items that have been collected and saved over the years Sunday, Sept. 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The creation of the new Science Center this month sees the loss of two storage closets that held the bulk of these treasures so the time has come to let some of them go.
At the sale there will be children’s furniture, puzzles, games, educational toys, craft supplies and more, some items have never been used at all. Funds raised from the tag sale will be put right back into the museum to continue their mission to create and maintain dynamic exhibits and hold enriching programs.
The sale will take place in front of the museum and in the case of rain it will be held in the big grey barn next door. Please note the museum will not be open for play as they will still be installing the new Science Center, which will have its grand opening Wednesday, Sept. 18.
The Coastal Children’s Museum is located at Sharp’s Point South, 75 Mechanic St. For more information please call the museum at 596-0300 or email info@coastalchildrensmuseum.org.
