Rockland police blotter

The Rockland Police Department responded to the following activity Aug. 26-Sept. 3:

Aug. 26

Michael Humiston, 25, of Owls Head was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay fines.

Aug. 30

Eugene Pease, 44, of Union was arrested for operating under the influence and operating without a license.

Sept. 3

Nancy Aylward, 55, of Glen Cove, was summoned for failing to stop at a stop sign.

Ronald Teele, 23, of Warren was summoned for failing to stop at a stop sign.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
