Learn techniques related to the practice of mindfulness, a way of focusing awareness in the present moment, to increase physical and emotional well-being at a workshop at the Knox County Health Clinic.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker Anne Cogger will be offering a three-week workshop focusing on mindfulness tools and techniques. This introductory workshop, held in a group setting, will begin Wednesday, Sept. 11 and run for three consecutive weeks, ending on Sept. 25. Sessions begin at 3:15 p.m. and end at 4:15 p.m. and will be held at the Knox County Health Clinic, located on the first floor of the Bok Medical Arts Building, 22 White St. in Rockland, behind the Rockland Public Library.

Following each mindfulness session, participants may also take part in stress reduction programs, which begin at 4:15 p.m. every Wednesday at the clinic. Weekly acupuncture treatments are provided by Eileen Murray, Licensed Acupuncturist; chair massage is offered by Licensed Massage Therapist Cathy Coneita; reflexology is offered by Certified Foot Reflexologist Michele Nettles.
