The town of Friendship will hold a benefit supper Friday, Aug. 30 in memory of Albert Simmons, longtime member of the fire department.
The supper will begin at 5 p.m. at the Hahn Community Center in Friendship, with a dessert auction and small regular auction to follow.
Simmons passed away Aug. 18. He had served on the fire department for 23 years as a firefighter and chief.
Memorabilia of Simmons will be on display for viewing.
The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for ages 5-12, and free for 4 and under.
